KS 925 Jewelry Production Process

Design and Prototype Making :
Design and Prototype making is the first step in our production process.  This is the most creative part of the entire business.  Everything starts with a researched idea that will need to be drafted in order for production.  This step will allow our team to use state of the art technology to draw up the idea and bring it to life

Casting :
Lost Wax casting is how we reproduce some of our products.  This method is very common and has been around for years.  But, it is very effective, which is why it is still around. The mold is made from a wax figure that resembles what we drew at the design and prototype process.  We then will fill the mold with molten metal and allow it to cool.  When complete, we will break off any left-over edges or flash that is left on the product and move it to the next stage.  This process produces very durable results and allows us to mass-produce.

Stamping :
Stamping is another form of production that we use.  This particular process allows us to offer cost-effective, delicate, lightweight designs.  They are typically 2D.  We have traditional stamping machines as well as laser machines that we can utilize.  We also have the ability to offer handmade stamping designs as well.

Filing :
Everything needs filing in order to eliminate unwanted bumps and flashed material that is around the outer edges.  We take each piece and file the edges with electric files.  This allows for a flat and smooth finish for the jewelry designs.

Mass finishing :
Our tumblers are there to do the mass finishing that we need.  We own a variety of machines to do this process.  There are magnetic, centrifugal disc and vibrating.  It depends on the media, but each of these machines allows our designs to come out amazing.

Stone setting :
Each one of the stones is handset using different types of setting techniques.  We have micro setting and wax stone setting techniques that we use often.  These technologies allow the stones to be secure in their settings and look amazing in your showcase.  

Hand Polishing :
Our experienced employees guarantee that every piece goes through the buffing polishing wheels, which gives it a fine polish producing a beautiful and protective mirror finish.

Plating & E-coating :
Electroplating is the process to give the piece its final finish.  This is done by electro-chemicals and will give the piece its final color of gold, silver, rose gold, rhodium and black rhodium plating.  The final finish is e-coating which is a thin layer of resin that protects the products from tarnishing.  Each one of the plating processes are unique, which makes it a specialized technique and is different for each piece.

Quality Control :
We are meticulous on quality control.  Each piece will go through quality control to be checked for accuracy of all of the various processes from casting, stamping, stone setting and finishing.  We want to ensure that our quality is nothing but top-notch.

Packaging :
Each item is individually packaged in a polybag.  Our packaging options also depend on the clients' needs.  We are also able to supply cards, boxes, stickers and other requirements to help our clients build out their own brand. 

Delivery :
If your shipment is small, we have worked out special export pricing with our carriers.  However, our clients can choose whichever carrier they would like to ship with as well.  We work with DHL, UPS, EMS and other air/sea forwarders to meet our clients' demands, should you not want to use our special export pricing option.
